Pure & Powerful: Nourishing. Tallow Skincare for the Whole. Family
In 2020 we got our first cow, because why not add to the already full mini farm we had built. During the year we had her I dug deep into how the beef fat was an amazing healing byproduct. Naturally, the idea popped into my head to try and formulate a cream that would be safe for my kids and safe for me to use everyday. (Enter mad scientist)
My first flagship Tallow product was the Bedtime Beauty Balm. The label was primitive and the jars were nothing special, but the contents quickly became a market favourite!
Once I started formulating, my intuition continued to push me to create more. One after the other the skincare creams and salves began to materialize through careful creation, and intentional blessings being spoken over each batch.
In 2023 I decided it was time for the skincare to have its own identity – away from the farm. Through a process I can only describe as a roller coaster of emotions. Sovereign Skincare Company was finally brought to life in both logo, look and perfected formulations. Every chapter has an ending…growing for everyone became too much between jobs, kids and life in general. A tough decision was made in 2024 to close our doors to the public and go back to growing for our family, having more time to spend with the kids, and time to grow what is now Sovereign Skincare Company.
